The Execution of the 14 year old black boy George Stinney Jr.
The first person to be executed in America was a 14 year old black boy ,name George Stinney Jr. he was accused of killing two white girls ages 7 and 11 ,Almost 72 years ago, South Carolina electrocuted 14-year-old George Stinney. Family members today say he's innocent, and while they can't bring him back, they want his name cleared.
A black teen in the The city of Jim Crow South Carolina , George Stinney Jr. was accused of murdering two white girls, ages 7 and 11, as they hunted for flowers in Alcolu, North Carolina. According to the police Stinney confessed to killing the girls, No witness or evidence supported that in the court and the all white jury took less than two hours to convict him of murder and he was sentenced to death.
Fewer than three months after the two girls deaths, George Stinney was taken to an electric chair at the Columbia penitentiary, and books were placed on the seat so he would fit in the chair since it was built for larger people, He was executed with the electric chair in front of about 40 witnesses, it goes a long way to show injustice in America

There its not a surprise that many Innocents African Americans were execute during those times when their rights as a humans beings were not a priority for the government. But its good to never give up in order to prove that many people were innocent and their rights were violate.
