The perils of plumping; warnings about the "Kylie Jenner challenge
In the past 24 hours, the "Kylie Jenner Challenge" to plump up your lips has blown up online. Teens put their mouths into a small glass and suck as hard as they can, causing their lips to temporarily swell up. And then, it's time to take a selfie.
The lip suction trend has medical professionals very concerned. Experts say creating a self-mouth tourniquet for your lips can be very dangerous. Getting a pillowy pout is the latest craze on social media and inspired by reality-star-turned-model Kylie Jenner. Engorged lips, whether it be a joke or desired, inspired Serenity Dewey to do it.
Dewey took a selfie moments before she puckered up to a plastic cap. Then she used the cap as a suction device for 10 minutes. But she soon realized it had an alarming result. "I started to feel pain at first and it was, like, throbbing, but then it went away," she said. "My mom was, like, freaking out, like, 'what's wrong with your lips?'" she said.
Her parents wanted her to be a voice for other teenagers to warn them about the dangers of this so-called challenge that's gone viral. And surgeons are doing the same. "All the little details of your lips are being stretched out; you're breaking capillaries," said Dr. Remus Repta with Advanced Aesthetic Associates.
Dr. Repta says lip suctioning can actually change the architecture of the lips, cause deflation and even permanent disfigurement. Dewey says the only challenge here is hoping others realize just how dangerous this form of lip plumping can be. "People do it to make fun of Kylie Jenner and how big her lips are, and so doing this and realizing it thins your lips it isn't funny anymore," she said.

Stress in College: Where It Comes From, and How to Manage
Not surprisingly, the workload of college is significantly more involved than the high school workload, and it comes with less hand-holding from parents and teachers. With challenging classes, scheduling issues to coordinate, difficult tests and other academic obstacles, coupled with the more independent nature of the college learning structure, many new and returning students find themselves studying long, hard hours.

As Rowdy Yates, he made the show his own and became a household name around the country. He caught my heart with his role in the classic movie "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" (1966). The movie was a big hit and brought him instant international recognition. His works as a director ranges from The heartbreak Ridge to American Sniper, He is one of the best movie directors in my opinion.

The Birth of Hip Hop
Hip Hop is a style of popular music of US black origin, featuring rap with an electronic backing and hook.
A hip hop enthusiast from New York City has always heard that 1520 Sedgwick Avenue in the Bronx is the birthplace of hip hop which happens to be the most talked about History of Hip hop.
The story goes that on way back to August , 1973 DJ Kool Herc, a building resident in the Bronx NY, was a MC at his sister’s back to school party, and tried something new on the turntable (keyboard): he extended an instrumental beat to let people dance longer (break dancing) and began rapping during the extended break dancing.
This, the most people believes, marked the birth of hip hop. The music led to an entire cultural movement which happens to be the most popular genre of music today it also altered generational thinking – from politics and race to art and language.
Detectives sets out to examine an inner city environment that layed the foundation for a cultural revolution to the world's most listened genre of music.
and some argue that 1520 Sedgwick Avenue is nothing more than just a residential building. Hip-hop started at block parties and clubs in the New York City of Brooklyn in the late 60's, and paved its way to Queens and Harlem before finally ending up in the Bronx in the early 70's where it was most commercialized.
